The Johnson County Information Technology Services (ITS) Client Liaison Program was created to focus on the delivery of excellent customer service to County departments. The objective of the program is to provide the best possible business and technical support services to County departments by identifying the scope of services, communication channels, and stating expectations explicitly. Results of implementing The ITS Client Liaison Program include increased satisfaction with ITS services and fewer negative impacts to County department business operations from major technology changes and upgrades. Improved communication with County departments is enabling ITS to provide more enterprise solutions and fewer individual technology solutions. While more work is required in the area of improving working relationships with client departments, all evidence points to improved relationships between ITS and its client departments which is leading to more effective use of technology throughout the County.
