Program services improve the social, developmental, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning of children ages birth through 5 years old who have experienced physical, sexual, and emotional abuse as a result of premature birth, poor maternal nutrition, family violence, maternal depression, and/or substance abuse or prenatal exposure to alcohol or other drugs. This population is at risk for emotional and behavioral disorders and significant developmental delays.
