The San Bernardino County Historical Archives produces a weekly video series that increases awareness of the services offered at the department by promoting interesting local history. Mixing the old, history, with the new, the internet, the Assessor-Recorder-Clerk (ARC) has created a viewership of over 5 million people. The ARC Facebook page has increased from 1,200 to over 11,000 followers in one year, becoming the department’s most effective communications method promoting the county’s website, ARC job opportunities and ARC services. This weekly video series has created a devoted online fan base who is actively engaged with the department. ARC continuously leverages its strong online presence to promote important department information to millions of people at no additional cost to taxpayers.
