Year: 2015

The Guardian Review Program (GRP) consists of volunteers, more commonly known as Court Visitors, who serve as a community liaison providing community resources to wards, guardians and caregivers. Each Court Visitor conducts a home visit with vulnerable persons under the Court’s jurisdiction to ensure that the ward's basic needs are being met and that the wards are not being mistreated, neglected, exploited or abused. Court Visitors remain objective observers of the Court to ensure that fiduciaries are educated about their responsibilities and increase community awareness of the guardianship process. The Guardian Review Program Court Visitor’s role is vital and serves to provide the Court with first-hand knowledge about the care each ward is receiving to ensure that all vulnerable adults with guardianships remain safeguarded.
