The Sarasota County Green Champion program is an employee education initiative that provides certification to employees following completion of a multi-course Sustainability curriculum. This program is part of the County’s commitment to facilitating community sustainability, focusing internally on improving government processes and practices. It recognizes that, while policies and programs are important, our employees are the most critical piece of the campaign to achieve enterprise sustainability and will ultimately garner our success.
