GeneteXt is a book club for people in their twenties and thirties. They meet at Durham County bars and restaurants on the last Monday of every month to discuss the month’s book. It is advertised on the library’s calendar as well as several social networking sites. Every month approximately 15-20 people, usually an even mix of men and women, show up to the discussion and talk for two hours. They have had twelve meetings and have several people who have been with the group since its beginning.
