In a countywide effort to provide constituents and employees with easy, reliable access data, Baltimore County is now utilizing ESRI’s ArcGIS Open Data platform. The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has leveraged this platform to present critical, accurate datasets to both internal and external customers. Built to mirror the look, feel and user experience of our public website, this data-sharing tool provides an efficient, easy-to-use platform that requires minimal employee resources and no additional cost to implement or maintain. The portal currently includes more than 60 datasets and one-stop access to the County’s ever-growing catalog of ESRI-based web applications.
