The Emergency Communications Center Incident Information System provides access to emergency incident information to police, fire, ambulance, sheriff, and Emergency Communications personnel. The Emergency Communications Center (ECC) needed to replace an antiquated web application used to provide information in the field to police, sheriff, and fire personnel. Upon requesting assistance from the Information Technology Services department, the ECC found a replacement for the web application. The application includes the following webpages: home page, listing downloadable documents, announcements, and active and waiting calls; search of incidents/calls; available vehicle location, by fire, police, or ambulance; paging/rostering; system overload; road closings; and hospital diversions.
