The e-Notify System provides the County with a single software platform for electronic submission, distribution, and tracking of court notices and subpoenas to officers from law enforcement agencies for Miami-Dade County court cases within the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida. The County, represented by the Enterprise Technology Services Department, spearheaded the effort to host the technical hardware and software platform, as well as provide the project management and programming services to implement the e-Notify System. The program implementation was accomplished in a multi-phase approach with the collaboration of the law enforcement and judicial communities and the contracted services of Orion Communications Inc. for installation of the CourtNOTIFY core software. By completion of the implementation, the system provided 50 law enforcement and 4 judicial agencies with the ability to electronically distribute and track inter-agency subpoenas and notices.
