The County of San Diego’s Department of Human Resources’ Employee Benefits Division is responsible for annual open enrollment for over 17,000 County employees. The Department of Human Resources’ Workforce Information Network (WIN) unit worked with IT partners and developed a custom page to calculate out-of-pocket benefit costs to County employees. This allowed employees to view their estimated out-of-pocket costs during the open enrollment process.
