In January 2018, at the direction of the Macomb County Executive’s Office, the Information Technology Department implemented a Strategic Plan. Two of the goals of this plan are providing a secure and robust infrastructure to support county services, and to maintain a strong cyber security posture.Macomb County has focused on improving its security posture for the past 4 years in preparation for and to continue meeting the objectives set forth in the Strategic Plan. Measures instituted include security assessments, audits, user training, improved data policies, and reporting practices.
