As COVID-19 sent everybody into isolation and virtual platforms, some programming did not fit well into this mold. Once such request was the need for rain barrels. Sheltering at home reminded people of their love of gardening. One aspect of this activity is water harvesting and storage which is a standard best management practice recommended by Florida-Friendly Landscaping. Our regular rain barrel program came to a halt as customers were not able to be serviced under normal circumstances. The demand for rain barrels and the associated information continued, however.
