1. The County looked to consolidate and standardize the department budget preparation process utilizing its SharePoint Intranet System. This has resulted in a single place for departments to develop and submit their departmental budgets. This has drastically reduced the duplication of documents and staff time resolving discrepancies in document versions. In addition, departments now have access to previous year budgets to reference and review when preparing current year budgets. CEO staff can easily work with departments on issues in a particular budget without the need to email the document.
