Oakland County implemented and hosted the Collaborative Asset Management System (CAMS) which has standardized county-wide infrastructure and allowed Oakland County and its local governments to proactively manage assets for water, sewer and storm. The County’s Information Technology Department developed, implemented or supported all facets of the implementation of CAMS. There are more than 1,000 users of the system since it went live in August of 2010.
