The County of Los Angeles provides youth workforce services to participants 14-24 years of age through its Youth@Work program. Priority population for the Youth@Work program include CalWORKs youth 14-18 years of age. Through a partnership with the Department of Public and Social Services (DPSS), Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services (WDACS) provides soft skills development and work experience to qualifying participants. These resources are provided to participants to improve opportunities and prepare them for their first job. This partnership with DPSS started July 1st, 2017.
