Miami-Dade County’s Information Technology Department (ITD) provides a broad array of IT services as the largest municipal technology provider for County departments, government agencies and municipal partners. ITD serves as a partner in innovation for its customers developing solutions that move the envelope in the digital transformation of government in Miami-Dade. The Auto Tag Group Division of the Tax Collector’s Office manages the auto tag license plate inventory for all of the County Auto Tag Agencies. In addition, the division is responsible for receiving, notifying, distributing, and shipping the license plates, and manages the auto tag supplies orders. In order to facilitate the process, the Auto Tag Manager and the Tax Collector, required a system that could efficiently account for all the auto tag license plates and supplies at hand, and track all the items distributed to the agencies.
