“Ask Jim Smith” is an initiative of the Baltimore County Office of Communications as a means for Baltimore County citizens to obtain specific information regarding questions or concerns they have about their local government directly from the Baltimore County Executive. Baltimore County constituents in need of assistance can submit a form, through email, with their questions. Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith then answers the submitted questions as a web video. “Ask Jim Smith” not only allows residents to have their concerns addressed personally by the County Executive, but it also serves as an unprecedented tool for County Executive Smith to communicate with the public.
