An intranet web application providing detailed billing, client management, and statistical reporting of data pertaining to specific services provided by the Area IX Agency on Aging (AOA) department for Flathead County, Montana. It seems to be non-existent as a software product from any third party, which prompted its development internally by our county IT department. The program records services provided to clients, quantity provided, location, and costs involved on a daily basis, and allows staff to generate and print billing notices from that data. It also provides the ability to record individualized health assessments for each client, and alert staff to any high-risk clients. Management staff can generate reports on the data at any time, which was impossible with the old system/process being used. This program replaced an antiquated and error-prone system of hand-written records and notes, tally sheets, large stacks of paperwork and files, as well as a 20+ year old intranet server and database. Since the program was launched, the AOA department saves time and money on a daily basis by providing the same services to citizens, but much more efficiently and timely, as well as providing new statistical/historical reporting to management staff.
