To improve the ability of Maricopa County departments to hire and retain new employees, the Office of Communications teamed with department leaders and human resources staff to create new recruitment marketing strategies. The new tactics were used to target messaging to potential candidates through a variety of digital, broadcast, and direct marketing channels. The implementation of these efforts in individual departments and in a larger countywide effort allowed hiring managers to reach new audiences and increase staffing in high-need areas.
