Jamie Richards

Executive Assistant to the Executive Director and Liaison to the NACo Executive Committee and Board

As Executive Assistant, Jamie manages day-to-day operations supporting the Executive Director. Specific duties include scheduling, administrative support and travel planning. In addition, Jamie serves as NACo Board Liaison, working with NACo’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee to coordinate meetings, documents and communication. Jamie specializes in ‘other duties as assigned’ in order to support a ‘One NACo.’

Jamie came to NACo in 2013 after spending five years at the Maine Education Association in Augusta, Maine where she was an assistant for the Governance and Legislative departments. Prior to that, Jamie worked as an assistant, sales rep and management trainer for a bakery in Los Angeles County and for restaurants in the Washington, D.C. area. She holds a bachelor’s degree in American Studies and German from the George Washington University.
