Hadi Sedigh is NACo’s Chief Innovation Officer. In this capacity, he leads NACo’s County Innovations Lab, which carries out the organization’s foundation-supported initiatives, research projects and data analytics efforts. Previously, he served as Managing Director of NACo’s former Counties Futures Lab and as Associate Legislative Director for Justice & Public Safety. Hadi also served as liaison to NACo’s Immigration Reform Task Force and National City-County Task Force on the Opioid Epidemic, and co-authored “A Prescription for Action,” a joint report on the opioid epidemic published by NACo and the National League of Cities.
Before joining NACo, Hadi worked as a Legislative Fellow in the Office of Congresswoman Yvette Clarke (N.Y.) and as a Law Clerk in the Office of House Employment Counsel in the U.S. House of Representatives. Hadi holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, a B.A. from Hunter College of the City University of New York and is an active member of the New York State Bar.
