2022 NACo Healthy Counties Forum
Register to attend the 2022 NACo Healthy Counties Forum April 6-8 in Wake County/Raleigh, N.C.
The vital role that counties play in creating and sustaining healthy communities has never been more evident. County leaders and public health departments have been at the forefront of combating the COVID-19 pandemic and creating equitable opportunities for county residents to thrive. The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and other state and local fiscal recovery funds are offering a chance for county leaders to invest in the future of community health in ways that promote equity and positive outcomes
About the Forum
NACo’s Healthy Counties Initiative works to create and sustain healthy communities, supporting collaboration and sharing innovative approaches to pressing health issues. This year’s Healthy Counties Forum provides an opportunity for county leaders to network and learn about innovations and strategies to improve equitable access to systems that address the social determinants of health – economic stability, education, health and health care, neighborhood and built environment and social and community context.
Join your peers for an interactive event that will focus on strategies for equitably addressing systems that impact the social determinants of health, particularly emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic. County leaders will share how they are addressing health in our communities; experts will examine health improvement tools and attendees will discuss approaches for using social determinants of health as a framework to inform policy decisions.
All NACo members are welcome to attend this in-person only event. NACo is grateful to the 2022 Healthy Counties Sponsors for their support of this event.
