2021 NACo Fall Board of Directors Meeting and Large Urban County Caucus Symposium

Breakfast will be served and county attendees will have the opportunity to discuss their ARPA spending plans with fellow attendees. KPMG – a corporate premier partner of NACo – will have experts in the room, along with NACo staff, to answer your pressing ARPA questions.

Over the past year, NACo has helped to achieve numerous county legislative priorities including the passage of the American Rescue Plan Act, which provided $65.1 billion in direct funding for counties of all sizes, as well as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which represents a significant victory for counties, who own and operate 44 percent of public roads and 38 percent of bridges. During the Large Urban County Caucus (LUCC) Business Meeting, LUCC members will hear about these developments as well as a COVID-19 update from our White House and federal partners, as well as NACo staff.

Fri. December 03
2:00 pm

The NACo Board Meeting is open to all attendees and will include an update from the White House as well as the Roy C. Brooks Generational Poverty Award in addition to general Board business.

Sat. December 04
8:00 am

Buses will board and leave from the conference center promptly at 8:30 a.m. and travel to Blackhall Studios, where we will tour the facility and hold the Board Retreat.

Situated in DeKalb County, Blackhall Studios offer comprehensive services for a wide variety of film and television productions. The studio complex spans nearly 150 acres and includes nine sound stages and spaces for special effects and storage.
