NACo and NACCTFO (National Association of County Collectors, Treasurers and Finance Officers) discuss how counties are increasingly moving towards digital payment and collection methods. Residents now have the option to use electronic payment methods, rather than cash or checks, to pay taxes and fees for county services. Panelists include representatives from counties that are engaged with the evolution of existing payment infrastructure and a representative from Visa sharing their experiences working with counties and other jurisdictions to utilize Visa services to strengthen revenue collection capacity.
