    Justice and Public Safety Policy Steering Committee – Afternoon Meeting

    Committee members will hear from key federal partners on recent developments in public safety related policy issues. The committee will learn about implementation plans for the recently passed Disaster Recovery Reform Act (DRRA), outlook for the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and how to strengthen local safety and security through information and intelligence sharing and federal partnerships. Steering committee members will consider interim policy resolutions used to guide NACo’s advocacy efforts before Congress, the White House and federal agencies.
