    This session will focus on behavioral health and mental health trends during the pandemic, underscoring services and resources for vulnerable populations such as veterans and people living in rural counties. It will include remarks from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), followed by a virtual armchair discussion between NACo Immediate Past President Commissioner Mary Ann Borgeson and the Executive Director of the Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration, Dr. David Carroll.
