Developed at Harvard University, the Human Services Value Curve is a framework that enables leaders, including those involved in local human services programs, to envision and create a path that will lead to improved outcomes for their organizations and the people they serve. NACo’s Human Services and Education Steering Committee began discussing the Human Services Value Curve and its potential to transform county human services departments at the NACo’s 2015 Annual Conference. At this session, we will recap and continue that conversation, providing an overview of the Human Services Value Curve and examples of how this emerging concept has been implemented in counties across the nation.
