County Leadership: Connecting and Leveraging Opportunities to Improve Health
Counties play an important leadership role in creating and sustaining healthy communities. Recognizing that health goes beyond access to healthcare, this interactive Forum will focus on strategies for addressing social determinants of health—issues such as transportation, social support networks, employment, education, housing and income. County leaders will share how they are addressing health in their communities, experts will examine health improvement tools and attendees will discuss approaches for using social determinants of health to inform policy decisions. Learn how to ensure that policies will make a positive impact in your community and engage in facilitated discussions with experts and thought-leaders about the issues facing your county.
