Members will hear from federal officials and policy experts on the latest environmental and energy federal policy issues. The steering committee will review the federal outlook for environment and energy issues in 2020, including potential legislation and regulations in the 116th Congress related to “Waters of the U.S.,” climate and renewable energy and pending EPA regulations. Steering committee members will also consider policy resolutions used to guide NACo’s advocacy efforts before Congress, the White House and federal agencies.
