Data Driven Justice Biweekly Call Notes: Diversion Methods

In an effort to reduce increasing jail populations, many counties are seeking to implement diversion methods. Join us on this interactive webinar to learn how counties across the country are using diversion methods to achieve successful outcomes in their community. Speakers will discuss how their counties are actively working to develop diversion efforts through Crisis Intervention Training and the benefits of having facilities strategically located to make "on-the-street" diversion an easier process. Participants will also learn how to engage both law enforcement and mental health agencies to reduce overcrowding in the jails and reduce recidivism through post-arrest diversion programs.
