Join the National Association of Counties and your peers for a one-and-a-half-day peer exchange on county justice system issues, hosted in Palm Beach County, Fla. This event will bring together county leaders and experts from across the country to learn about and discuss how Palm Beach County successfully developed and maintained its Criminal Justice Commission, the county’s work to improve the front end of its justice system, and the county’s efforts to enhance data collection and analysis. Participants will also engage in discussions about community engagement and racial and ethnic disparities in the criminal justice system.
NACo will provide a $300 travel stipend for each participant. Attendees are responsible for their own hotel reservations. Hotel information will be available soon!
Registration is on a first-come, first served basis, and participants may only register for one Peer Exchange. No more than two individuals from the same county may attend, and priority will go to elected officials. Registration deadline is November 23, 2016.
