ISAC Voting in Iowa Video Series

Iowa State Association of Counties, Iowa

The Voting in Iowa Video Series is three videos created jointly by the Iowa State Association of Counties (ISAC) and the Iowa State Association of County Auditors (ISACA).

    • Voting in Iowa: Part 1. Registering to Vote
    • Voting in Iowa: Part 2. Voting Absentee
    • Voting in Iowa: Part 3. Voting on Election Day

ISAC made these short, funny and informative videos with the goals of:

    • Increasing voters
    • Educating voters
    • Eliminating fear and intimidation
    • Informing about county government
    • Informing about the role of the county auditor as the commissioner of elections
    • Breaking down walls for people who have never voted or haven’t voted in a long time

The videos and rollout campaign carried an overarching theme that “county auditors bring you free, fair and honest elections.” ISAC rolled out each video to coincide with Iowa pre-election deadlines, major absentee ballot mailings and the General Election. The videos received an immense amount of attention throughout the state with the following results from the ISAC social media sites.
