Gaston County if seeking for its new Assistant County Manager a respected leader and manager who is well-versed in finance and budgeting, economic development and county operations. He/she must work effectively with the County Manager.
The new Assistant County Manager is required to possess a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration or a related field. A Master's degree in Public Administration is strongly preferred. He/she must possess 7 years of local government management experience.
