NACo Officers
  • Immediate Past President Roy Charles Brooks tries his hand at shodo, a type of calligraphy using an ink-dipped brush to create characters, a traditional part of Japan’s culture. Brooks represented NACo in Japan as part of the CLAIR Fellowship local government exchange program Oct. 27-Nov. 6.

  • Paul Guequierre is NACo’s new communications director,  responsible for managing and coordinating media relations and other communications activities.  Paul served as the director of communications for Urban Libraries Council and American Constitution Society for Law and Policy. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Public Administration from American University.
  • Jessica Jennings is NACo’s new associate legislative director for transportation. Before joining NACo, Jessica served as special assistant and policy advisor for the U.S General Services Administration, Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs. She earned a a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from North Carolina State University and a master’s in Human Environmental Science from the University of Alabama.
  • Associate Legislative Director Eryn Hurley updated the American Public Human Services Association’s leadership on county advocacy efforts during the Harvard Human Services Summit in Suffolk County (Cambridge), Mass. October 26-28.
