Zach George

Legislative Assistant

Zach George joined NACo in March 2016 and serves as a Legislative Assistant. He is responsible for writing and editing blog articles, conducting legislative research and providing legislative support for Environment, Energy and Land Use; Transportation; Telecommunications and Technology; and the Gulf Coast Counties and Parishes Coalition. In addition, he serves as the staff liaison for the National Association of Counties LGBT Leaders & Allies. Previously, he served as a Membership Associate for NACo.

Zach graduated from the University of Kansas in December of 2015 with B.A.s in Political Science and Public Administration and a minor in Public Policy. Prior to joining NACo, Zach served as Student Body Vice President at the University of Kansas.
