Timothy McCue

Associate Program Director – Health

Timothy McCue is the Associate Program Director – Health for the County Solutions and Innovation department at the National Association of Counties (NACo). Timothy leads the health team on a broad portfolio of health and public health work that includes topics of youth substance abuse, maternal/child health, telehealth, health equity and the intersection of health and housing. He is also the point of contact for the Healthy Counties Advisory Board.

Prior to joining NACo, Timothy spent more than a decade as a grantmaker at a private family foundation and health foundations in Cleveland, Ohio and metropolitan Washington, D.C. Timothy began his career in public health at the City of Cleveland Department of Public Health where he created such programs as Walk a Hound, Lose a Pound. He holds a Master of Public Health degree from Case Western Reserve University and a bachelor’s in English from Hiram College.
