Kevin Shrawder

Data & Research Analyst

Kevin Shrawder is a Data & Research Analyst with NACo's County Innovations Lab. He works primarily on data analysis and visualization. He also responds to research requests and provides support for research projects. Prior to his full-time position, Kevin worked as a NACo research intern.  

Kevin holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematical Economics from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Data Sciences with a concentration in Analytics at American University in Washington, D.C.

    Local government jobs decline for second consecutive month

    The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released its monthly jobs report for May, reflecting a dramatic change of course in labor market conditions, but not for local governments. On top of approximately 800,000 local government jobs lost in April, local governments lost another 487,000 in May.
