Jessica Perez

Justice Associate

Jessica is a Justice Associate at the National Association of Counties. In this role she will work within County Solutions and Innovations to fulfill duties that include a variety of assignments aimed at informing, educating and assisting county officials across the United States who are working to build fairer and more effective justice systems.

Prior to this position, Jessica served as a legislative intern in both the House of Representatives and Senate for the New Jersey delegation, a legal intern for the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project and an Advocacy Intern for SOS Children’s Village. Through these positions she was able to discover and pursue her passion for social justice issues, specifically creating inclusive environments for marginalized communities and is excited to carry this passion through her role at NACo.

Jessica is a seasoned graduate from American University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a concentration on race, gender and politics.
