Farhana Fayaz

Technology Applications Specialist

As the IT Applications Specialist with NACo, Farhana is primarily responsible for supporting NACo’s Enterprise Applications and implement new enterprise application solutions and ensuring adherence to the Data Protection Act. Her role involves working closely with IT teams to ensure cost effectiveness, timeliness, risk mitigation and seamless communication between stakeholders of each project.

Prior to joining NACo, she has worked with start-ups, medium and large scale companies across several domains like education, human resources and manufacturing. Farhana has an expertise in establishing effective and efficient work flows that adhere to software application development best practices and quality standards. She graduated Masters of Science in Information Systems, Magna Cum Laude from Stratford University, Falls Church Campus, Va. and holds Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
