Erin Knight

Manager, Conferences and Affiliate Services

Erin Knight joined NACo in spring 2017 as the Affiliate Services Manager. In October, she transitioned onto the Public Affairs team as Manager, Conference & Affiliate Services, to support departmental operations, NACo conferences (including Affiliate meeting logistics) and other small meetings. She remains the primary point of contact for NACo Affiliates and the NACo Joint Conference Center. Erin graduated from Louisiana State University’s Manship School of Mass Communications with a BA in Public Relations and a minor in French.

Prior to joining NACo, Erin was Manager, Greenbuild Operations & Exhibition at the U.S. Green Building Council, and was responsible for daily financial operations, project and relationship management, host committee and tradeshow presence. She joined the events team after managing instructor-led workshop delivery for the education department. Prior to joining USGBC, Erin served as Marketing Coordinator at Festival International de Louisiane. She also has previous experience in investor relations and 20+ years of experience in event planning.
