This session will explore federal and local tools for advancing strong housing policies that promote equitable development and are responsive to local community needs. Counties play a key role in promoting regional collaboration in economic mobility, and we have invited county leaders to share successful strategies they have used to promote access to housing, jobs and other essential services. Join current and former elected officials and well as leaders representing public housing authorities and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to discuss the hope and the challenge of creating inclusive neighborhoods that allow all families to reach their full potential. This interactive discussion will be facilitated by the Ford Foundation.
