Water Resources Management
NACo's water program is designed to help counties improve water quality and water resource management.
Green Infrastructure for Counties
NACo's Green Infrastructure Program helps counties to use management of natural resources to enhance water quality, abate flooding, lower heat in urban centers and build more resilient communities.
Resources for Coastal Counties
NACo has partnered with the NOAA Coastal Services Center and the NOAA Community-based Restoration Program to support coastal resiliency and effective coastal management in our nation's coastal watershed counties
Five Star Restoration Grants
NACo Five Star grants help local governments to restore wetland, stream and riverbanks.

Transportation & Infrastructure

Rural Road Safety
The objective of the project is to engage county officials in rural road safety and provide information to help counties reduce fatalities on rural and isolated roadways.
Public Safety and Congestion Project
In partnership with the Motorola Solutions Foundation, NACo will present tools and resources counties can use to reduce the impacts on congestion on its residents.
Wildfire Prevention Clearinghouse
The Wildfire Clearinghouse contains key resources to assist counties in reducing the risk of wildfire and mitigating its impacts.
