About Steve Traina

Steve Traina graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science Degree, in Construction Management. Mr. Traina began his career as an Estimator and Project Manager with a medium-sized General Contractor, specializing in commercial High Rise Building construction. His professional career has taken many paths during the past 32 years, most notably in the environmental area of construction and design.   Mr Traina has founded, managed and sold or divested multiple consulting/contracting firms giving him a wealth of environmental and engineering expertise. Mr. Traina currently maintains many environmental certifications including LEED AP. 
 
Additionally, community development and affordable housing have become a passion for Mr. Traina. Being a Gulf Coast resident, Mr. Traina has been involved in Recovery of Hurricane/Storm damage for almost 10 years He has participated in design and reconstruction efforts from Hurricanes Rita, Katrina, Ike and Superstorm Sandy. Mr. Traina has utilized his experience in construction and environmental resiliency to assist with program development and implementation of over $600,000,000 in disaster recovery funding efforts. He has also been successful securing and implementing numerous Federal and local grants for Community Development programs in the State of Texas.
