Roberta Eckert, CRPC, CHSA, CLTC, RICP, RCC, joined Nationwide in June 2013 with more than 28 years of financial industry experience. As a Vice President for the Retirement Institute, Roberta is dedicated to educating advisors, their clients, plan sponsors and plan participants about the trends in retirement income planning strategies and their effective implementation. Roberta stimulates the thinking and actions of professionals as they navigate the changing world of retirement planning. Annually addressing thousands of financial professionals and the retail public, Roberta’s sessions are customized to meet the needs of each group. Roberta’s polished style, engaging message and proven ability as a business professional assures top-notch engagement. Prior to Nationwide, Roberta worked as a wholesaler, Divisional Vice President, Sales Development Leader, Senior Relationship Manager and a National Spokesperson. During her career, Roberta has earned recognition as #1 Wholesaler in her Division and has also won awards based on sales achievement and leadership. While at Nationwide, Roberta has consistently qualified for President’s Council and is frequently sought out by the media, including Kiplingers, Wealth Advisor and CNN for her insight in Social Security benefits and the financial issues facing women today.
