Nicole Nishida

Nicole Nishida has been with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for nine years and has served the Department as a Spokesperson and Public Information Officer since 2008. Prior to working with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, she worked at KTLA-5 News as a producer. Nicole holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Cal State Los Angeles. She is a member of the Los Angeles County Local Governmental Services Commission and the Law Enforcement liaison for the Los Angeles Regional Crime Stoppers Board. She developed the SoCal Public Information Officer (PIO) Public Safety Networking Conference and participated in a National live Internet broadcast for the National Institute of Corrections on No News Is NOT Good News: The Role of PIOs in Jails.
