Maeghan Gilmore

Program Director, Health, Human Services and Justice

Maeghan Gilmore is the program director for health, human services and justice issues in the County Solutions and Innovation (CSI) department. In this capacity, she develops and directs the association’s programs that provide information, training and assistance to county officials to help meet the emerging challenges they face in their communities. These programs cover a wide range of topics including health reform, rural health, mental health, housing, pre-trial services programs, juvenile detention reform, jail diversion and reentry issues. 

Before joining NACo, Maeghan worked for a NACo affiliate, the National Association of County Behavioral Health and Developmental Disability Directors (NACBHDD), as director of government affairs and public policy. She also taught high school health education for five years in Michigan. She has a B.S. in Health Education from Western Michigan University, a certificate of International Health from Boston University and an MPH, Health Policy, from The George Washington University.
