About Lisa Daniel

Lisa Daniel, CSW, CFPSW,  is the Executive Director of the OliveTree Creative Arts Community Center in Truth of Consequences, New Mexico. Lisa has worked in the behavioral health field for 20+ years. Lisa started her profession in behavioral health working with high-risk teens. She was the director of a treatment foster program for five years before deciding to work with adults with mental illness and substance use disorders. Helping clients attain happier, healthier, and more rewarding lives is her passion. Lisa states, she has seen so many people experience growth and healing via “aha” moments, processing through difficult stuff in a meaningful way. Through creative process, she hopes clients will gain insight, and find precious relief from tough feelings. Lisa continued her path which lead her to Truth or Consequences in 2019, where she was hired as the director of a new facility, The OliveTree Creative Arts Community Center. Starting from scratch, the OliveTree begin building its program by partnering with Sierra County in several grant programs which focused on helping those that are incarcerated and post incarcerated, and those struggling with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders. The program grew to offer a wide array of services, including transitional housing for the Sierra County community, including justice involved individuals.
