Kevin Carr

General Services Manager

Kevin Carr acts as the liaison with the property management company for daily facilities support issues and maintains a safe, clean, organized and fully functional facility at all times by performing routine maintenance and daily facility inspections. He collaborates with outside vendors to maximize product, price and maintenance delivery consistency and coordinates with outside contractors to perform required repairs and oversee inspections of all performed tasks. He tracks the progress of all projects and communicates issues and results to upper management. He collaborated on pre-project planning with architects, space planners and necessary manufacturer representatives, and manages mail, print, facility operations, off-site warehouse storage and the after-hours cleaning.

Before joining NACo, Kevin spent over 29 years in the private sector working in government contracting within the security consulting industry. He worked with customers to set priorities and meet aggressive print production deadlines for multi-volume, multi-million dollar proposals. He also served as an initial point of contact for classified print requests and coordinated cleared staff for production assignments. He coordinated workflow schedules across four print facilities across the country to ensure all business deadlines were met, and he developed and trained staff on operating and quality control procedures to ensure customer specifications were met and documents were brand-compliant prior to delivery.
