The Hon. Randy Ripperger, CAE

Randy Ripperger is President of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Counties (NACo).  He currently is the Polk County Assessor in Des Moines, Iowa.  Randy has worked for the Polk County Assessor’s Office in various positions since 1980. He has the Certified Assessment Evaluator (CAE) designation from IAAO and is a Certified General Real Property Appraiser in the state of Iowa.  Randy graduated with a BA degree, economics, from Central College in Pella, Iowa.
