Daniel Knecht, M.D., MBA

Dr. Daniel Knecht is a board-certified internist and Fulbright scholar. Currently the Vice President of Clinical Strategy & Policy for Aetna, he creates and executes Aetna's clinical strategy and identifies and implements strategic initiatives in care management and data analystics. Dr. Knecht oversees Aetna's Clinical Policy unit and is Chief of Staff to Aetna's Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Knecht received a joint MDA and MBA from Weill Cornell Medical College and Johnson Graduate School of Management and interned at Mount Sinai Hospital. He is an associate clinical professor at Mount Sinai West.
